Pampas …

In 2012 I wrote about how we cut our Pampas grass back. The time had come for another, long overdue, haircut.

And the before…I’m afraid that will need to be left to your imagination as I forgot to take the photograph! Suffice to say that it was around three times the size of the 2012 one.

  1. We saw it in its "before" state and it was huge!
I'm not surprised you had a trailer full.
Our paths may have crossed at the dechetterie yesterday - we were there dumping the last of the wooden edging strips left behind for us to trip over.

    1. It is nice to go there now. Monsieur recognises us and doesn't ask "which commune" any more. I think he likes it that I sweep up!

  4. We've been watching our French neighbours and they don't touch theirs. I wonder if trimming it just encourages it to grow more. Just a thought x

  6. We just burnt our back in the past and it worked like a dream. Now we have a couple of nice shrubs that we have planted a bit close to it so we have to cut it back the hard way! Diane
