Feeding the birds ....

Tim has been taking some photographs of birds feeding at the bird table and feeders. They were taken through a window so are a bit hazy, but I like them.

Who invited the pesky squirrel to the party?

P.S. Tim thinks that before I post any more photographs I need a quick course in photo editing ….

    1. I've just looked up the differences between the sparrows. We live in a rural area of Staffordshire, but not a lot different to LG-P.

  2. I don't think there is much that is more pleasurable than watching the birds flock to the feeder -- as well as watching those waiting their turn! Love the pictures!

  3. I cannot see anything wrong with thee photos. They are much better than mine taken through the window but I have not got a very good zoom.. Diane

    1. Thanks, Diane.
I think I could have improved the pics by cropping.

  4. :-) I love watching our greedy little visitors. The blue tits sit there and scold if the feeder is running low! Our robins have vanished. Presumably because they have headed north over the channel.
Pics look fine to me. It is hard to get sharp captures when you are taking them through a window.

    1. We still have some robins around.
Cropping out some background could improve the pics.

  6. Hello Gaynor:
Sadly, squirrels never seem to wait for an invitation, they just gatecrash the event...especially if it involves nuts!!

Your birds are wonderful, so good to see many of them making an appearance back again after the winter.

  7. Dawn breaks at about 5.30 and the dawn chorus is certainly getting louder!
