We have set fire to ours there are a few green bits starting to pop up. Our pampas is huge though, I think they must have put in about 8 plants many years back. We have dug a couple out but no guarantees that that a bit of root left will still not shoot!! Diane
If only that could be said for Mimosa in France... Dead, I believe, as a result of the Big Freeze and combining drought, even though I wrapped it well.
Well done, I've considered doing the same to mine, but have decided I haven't got the confidence this year....maybe next time around. J.
