The same, but different...

As I type

  • It’s 6.46 UK time and 7.46 in Le Petit-Pressigny.
  • The temperature is 15C in both places.
  • The weather is overcast with just a few blue patches.
Pretty much the same really.

So what’s different?

I’m just about to get into the car and set off for work. That’s what’s different…

Actually, today is a special day at school. We have our 'Leavers Evening' and it will be great to see so many proud parents celebrating their children's achievements with us.

    1. It was warmer, but overcast all day.

      At least it didn't rain!

  4. I struggle to get up at 8.46, so my first thought was that you meant in the evening and that it seemed rather chilly - then I read on. You won't have many more days to get up for work now and these last ones are always so special. Enjoy and keep looking forward to losing that hour!

    1. I'm a morning person so aim to get to work just after 7. I gather Spain comes to life late in the evening hence the later starts to the morning.
Unless you know different ... :0)

  5. Gaynor... you really shouldn't believe everything you sidebar tells you... as you were typing that, here it was cold [13.5C] and there was a very fine 'mizzle'... I didn't notice it at first... but I got very wet checking the potatoes!
But by 11 it was 19C and just grey... and by 1PM it was 214.5C and SUNNY!!
