Kathy at Femmes Francophiles has heard that the problem could be with those bloggers using Internet Explorer as their browser. She suggests using Google Chrome or Firefox.
I managed to get round it by uploading photos from my computer onto a picasa file...then onto blogger....a long way round, very fiddly, so I will try using chrome I think. J
Gaynor, Thank you for the extra tip. The Live Writer works great. And I've also downloaded Chrome ... thus solving the problem. I now have two solutions for posting on my blog ... no more excuses to stay in hibernation (lol). Thanks again! Martine
P.S. For a while I considered using Janice's solution (using Picasa), but it's very fiddly indeed. :)

Gaynor, we've been using Firefox for the last four years... it is way better than IE!
