Monday music .......... the virtual jukebox.

A virtual jukebox should contain something for all tastes.

Today something from the 1960's, with a silly twist I found when searching on You Tube. Click on both videos .....

I wonder what Davy, Mike, Peter and Mickey are doing now? Probably all retired!

  1. I loved the Monkees when I was a young kid - they just seemed so exotic and American "cool" to a young school boy. I have Mike's "Rio" on my i-Phone, I love that song, especially the ending - "Rio, not Reno stupid"!

  5. Three of the Monkees were on tour in the UK this summer. Saw them promoting it on the One Show earlier this summer. Was a group we listened to in High School singing and driving around. loved them!

  6. Hi Jane,
I didn't see the One Show but I did find a clip on YouTube when I was looking for a music clip.

My favourite Monkee was Peter Tork ... I read somewhere that he will be 70 next year!
