A few weeks ago I posted about a walk around Le Châtelier and promised more photographs.
However, my best laid plans were disrupted by our trip back to theUK and I haven’t got round to it since. Today we are taking part in an organised, guided walk to Le Châtelier. The email promised fun and wine, so how could we not join in?
Hello Gaynor:
ReplyDeleteHaving both been in schools for many years, our thoughts are with you Gaynor as September approaches. Still, all we can say is that when retirement comes for you, we are sure that September will become your favourite month as it is for us!!
Le Chatelier looks to be a most interesting and beautiful place so we shall look forward to hearing and seeing more.
Ahh and I though I was going on this walk today, oh well, I will keep watching this space :-))
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you back to school. Have a good weekend Diane
I'm afraid I've to own up to being a fully paid up member of the ex-teacher brigade, so my heart goes out to you as September rears its ugly head, Gaynor. However, the above comments are so very true.. September is wonderful, post retirement. Look forward to it with relish!
ReplyDeleteThere's something about that bridge that makes me not want to cross it!!!
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to the rest of it?
Enjoy your walk.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI actually like my job, which is just as well!!
However I am looking forward to retirement and the opportunity to do something else with my life outside of school holiday periods.
Mandy,
ReplyDeleteWe did go in to the chateau grounds, fortunately there is another way in :o)
The chateau looks magnificent Gaynor... I envy you having it so close to your French home. All the best for the return to school.
